How is the ride two up on the Kingpin ?
Is the handling as good as the TC?
IS the kingpin a better all around bike
town, on the open road than the TC ?

If you're doing a lot of two up riding, stick with the TC. My wife and I took extended (50 mile) test rides on both the King Pin and the TC. While the King Pin is admittedly a better looking bike, and arguably a better around town bike (> 50 miles), the TC rules for longer stints and two up riding.

I sat on both with my girl friend. For me the KP feels more manageable. I'm 6' and she's 5'7" so the lower center of gravity on the KP helped. The TC sits higher and it felt a lot heavier tossing it around. My GF liked the back rest and found the more contoured seat on the KP more comfortable than the TC as well. Ordered the KP with the full touring package. Taking it on about a 250 trip in August, so we'll see. Can't wait.

I consider this an appropriate mid-distance tourer (600 miles per day) if you are going to further than that you might want to look into a sport tourer.
