| I currently own a 2001 Suzuki 1500vl I have put over 21 000 km about 13000 miles and it has been a great bike. Now I am looking at trading it in on a 2002 bmw R1200c. The bike looks great, and it is sure a different ride. Should I keep my intruder or buy this 2002
R1200C? The BMW has 2700 miles on it an 1.5 years of warranty left.

| I have always admired Suzuki's 1500 Intruder. They have a great fit and finish that is better than other Japanese Cruisers. Saying that I own a BMW R1200CEuro/Avantgard and it is an awesome bike. It has ABS and Fuel injection and certainly is technologically advanced. If you will be going 2up you will have to get a new Pillion or a Corbin seat and Pillion . My advise is to buy the BMW large Pillion. These are great bikes and nobody exceeds BMW quality. On the other hand they no longer build these bikes anymore. Since cruisers make up such a large portion of the market. Then Why? There are some problems with surging, but I am used to it. Since it has so much warrany left I just don't see how you can get hurt. Test ride it and make sure you like it quite a bit more than your Intruder 1500. After that it is a matter of getting a fair deal.
