I have been offered a 2000 S3T (silver, chromed wheels) for $3500. It has about 15000 miles on the clock. I rode it and all seems great and there are no apparent leaks... Seems like a great deal... the bike is extremely clean... There is a vibration that feels like a warped rotor after a couple seconds when I let go of the gas... motor mount? the rotor was also very hot to the touch after a 1 minute ride... seized caliper? I'd love feedback!
Thanks!

I'm a San Diegan cruising around the counrty this summer. I started out on a Ducatti 900ss, then traded it for a 1999 S3T with 8.5k on the clock, in Boston. What a great trade. More useable power, better mileage, and helpfull dealers all over the country, if you should need them. Now I'm at 13k, in Orlando, and no problems so far... do your oil changes, these things run hot. No tools necessary for the change! The thing I noticed on the brakes is that they use highly metalic pads on the front, which generate more heat than your average EBC compound. Not to mention the wear on the rotor.
