| Been looking for bolt-on performance mods for this bike - Chips, pipes- etc Has anyone been able to find an extra 10HP without giving up the bike's great torque curve and streetability??

| Hi Charlotte,
If you still have the original pipe, ditch it!!! lose the cat in the 'y' piece and put a german can on the end!!!.. Then ditch the air filtr for a less restrictive one !! K+N etc!!........... The bikes ECU will adjust the tuning afterwards and you will be amazed at the increase in all round ride!!!!... After that put a super chip in the ECU and high lift cams!!!...vrooooommmmmmmmmmmm!!!

| Like the previous poster had said...I took off that huge stock exhaust and had a Remus grand prix sport exhaust put on (without the catalytic converter) and a software change from Rhine West (www.rhinewest.com)...the dyno shows an increase of about 7 HP, plus now I'm getting about 47 miles/gal...and the machine is about 15 pounds lighter. In addition, my RS now has a decent, sporty exhaust note...not the wimpy one the stock pipe gave me. Now well over 100 HP with the same or better torque with the software...definitely worth it. Now have an even sportier sport-tourer.

| Hi SZR, I live here in Australia and after 50,000 kms I put on"Stainetune Exhaust" great sound more power and saves 3-4 kgs. Not too loud on the cruise. Power increase was excellent, however I also fitted a "Techlusion" power box that smooths out the slight surge as well as extra power. I do track days and the torques improved. Hope this is a help.
