Both the Honda ST 1300 and Yamaha FJR 1300 are reported to have some heat problems on hot days. How is your Aprilia on a nice Texas summer day?

I actually owned one of the first FJR's and I can definitely confirm that the heat issue is non-existent on the Futura. A little heat when the fans turn on, but otherwise one of the cooler (no pun intended) bikes I've ridden.

Not a problem at all. The bike has no problem keeping cool and it does not send a bunch of heat out on the rider. I don't spend a lot of time in traffic.

I've ridden in 80 degree plus days in Georgia and I haven't noticed any heat
problems at all and that's with leathers.
