| I've got a chance to trade up on my '99 Duc 750SS for a '00 Duc 748. I would like a faster bike with more sex appeal. They both have sex appeal. What about faster, especially on the track?

The 748 will be faster than the 750 ss. It makes about 35-40 more HP than the ss and is a highly inspired design. All that being said if you are really comfortable on your ss you may be faster on the track with it. Most riders, myself included, are much more skill limited than machine limited. I think the world of my 748, it handles like it's hardwired to my brain and is one of the best looking bikes ever made.
