| | I AM STUCK BETWEEN A CBR 1100XX AND THE NEWZZR1200 BY KAWASAKI. WHICH OF THE TWO BIKES WOULD GIVE ME A MORE COMFORTABLE RIDE. I LIKE BOTH. SECONDLY, HAS KAWASAKI NINJAS BEEN HAVING ALOT OF PROBLEMS WITH THEIR GEARS GOING OUT? |

| I have never ridden the XX; check out the comparison of these two bikes at motorcycle online.
I am very happy with my ZZR after 2 months and 2900 miles. It is a rocket. I looked at the XX, but I did not like the instrument layout (digital speedo), and the ergonomics were too cramped. I put bar risers on the ZZR, which helped, but I will probably get a Corbin seat next spring....the stock seat is tiresome after 50 or 100 miles. Gobs of power. The XX might hold its value better? The fit and finish on my bike is excellent. The dash is easy to read. The XX has fuel injection, which I would prefer. Good luck in your choice.

| Being an active member of WWW.ZZR1200.NET, I have never heard of gear problems with the ZZR.
Not sure which bike would be more comfortable, but when it comes to speed, the ZZR wins it hands down.

| | Either bike is fine. Don't know what BradleyRas is talking about the ZZR having "hands down" better power than an XX. The XX is just as fast as the ZZR and power delivery is smoother. I have an XX and for me it was not comfy out of the box and don't think the ZZR will be either. A corbin seat and handlebar risers will help. For the price of the ZZR, it should be fuel injected but it isn't. I'd go for the XX....craploads of power, fuel injection, and nobody beats Honda fit/finish and reliability. |

Sorry boss, BradleyRas is right, I've owned both bikes. Sold my XX after 2 months of owning the ZZR.. a ZZR will smoke an XX... |
