| I bought a Honda Shadow Aero a few weeks ago. I looked at a V Star before I bought the Honda. To me the ergonomics on the Honda were more comfortable. The seat is a little lower and although they weigh about the same I had a lot more difficulty getting the V Star off the side stand and upright. The salesperson had to show me a 'trick' to standing it up. I also read up on both and there were quite a few comments on the V Star's lack of power. I had my Honda up to 70 on the highway and never got out of 4th gear. Of course a lot of it's personal preference and your size (I'm only 5'2"). Just pick one and start riding!

| | I went with the Honda because of the liquid cooling and the fact that the over all size of the Honda is a little larger and the seat is a little lower. Both are great but I think the liquid cooled will last longer. |
