The Vinsion is a tough machine, however, it don't like water in the blet cover/case. To prevent it, you'll need to re-locate the intake and exaust ports for the belt case. It's not that hard to do and all of the parts can be bought at your local DYI store (Lowe's / Home Depo, etc.)

While you're there, might as well do the carb intake and all of your vent lines.

Meanwhile, if you're going to be in water deep enough to fill the belt case, carry a 12mm on the bike so you can drain the case should you need. It's located on the belt side right near the brake lever (foot).
