My brother and I recently bought brand new Polaris's. My brother got the 800 efi camo package, and I opted for the 500 efi camo package. The only reason why I got the 500 was to save a little money on gas, assuming I would be getting quite a bit more mpg. Well over memorial weekend we headed up to the hills, and driving virtually the same, my brothers tank of gas lasted longer than mine. I went 61 miles before the tank was empty, and he went 70. Is 61 miles a tank normal, or could something be wrong?

I have a 2006 X2 and the wife and I ran 2 riders, 5 hours, 45 miles, all high gear, and only used 1/3 of a tank.
We pulled a couple of low gear rock climbs but even on the steep runs, high gear pulled ok.
I love this thing!
