Victory/Polaris only recommends using their proprietary 20-40 motor oil. Has anyone used any other type i.e. Mobil 1 hx4t etc. for any extended period and what are your results and thoughts.

AMSOIL 20W50 Big Twin Oil. WAY better than the Crisco oil Victory sells.

I work at a victory dealership, and our general manager uses the synthetic amsoil for big v-twins. he has had zero problems and has over 11,000 miles on his 2002 touriing cruiser. hope this helps.
