| hi,
im 19 years old and I'm pretty new to riding motorcycles. I've been riding dirtbikes all my life and just recently (past 8 months ) started ridiing my dads shadow750 and ocasionally his r6.( i have my license) i've decided i have enough money to by my own bike. i was thinking on purchasing a 750 but when i went to the dealer i sat on the honda 1300. Its a beautiful bike and just as comfortable as the 750 in my opinion. i was told that the 750 lacks power when it comes to highway riding. i haven't noticed this but maybe its because im 5'6 150lbs. im not a very big rider.i dont feel i would have trouble conrtoling the power of the 1300. the r6 is a beast and i have no problem with it. if i buy the 750 will a be missing out on anything?I need some advice. thanks |

| I know this post is really old, but if you still haven't decided on one, I'd choose the 750. I have a Sabre 1100, and my buddy has a 750 spirit. We just got back from about a 1000 mile trip and the 750 kept up with my 1100 all the way there and all the way back. I'm 6'2'' and 270, and love the way his 750 feels, if it weren't for me being so large and my girlfriend riding with me, I would love to have a 750. Also, you can't ride as aggressively on a 1300 as you can on a 750 or 1100 because the pegs scrape. We rode the dragon on our trip and my buddie's 750 took the turns like crazy... Either way it's a Honda so you can't go wrong...
Ride Safe
