| Looking at getting new ski in the next week or so. Have it narrowed down between '08 Kawa 15F and new past model '06 Honda F-12. Both will run me between $7900 and $8300 out the door. Looking for opinions of other riders as to which is best deal, best boat to ride, and best reliability.
As you can tell by username I had my Sea-Doo and am ready for a new brand (98GSXlimited was a fun ride but too many problems) |

I presume you're speaking of the straight F12 and not the "X." Being here in Key West, waverunners/jet skis are a way of life for many. On one hand, the models you're comparing are somewhat of a flip of a coin EXCEPT, the Honda is an '06 and the Kawi an '08, the Honda having a 1200+ cc engine and the Kawi almost 1500 cc, even though their weight is about identical.
Tough call and one that's too personal of a decision for someone else to be making for you. From that which I know about them, which is only a fair amount, rather than a lot, they both are excellent machines with lots of great features. If this model of Honda was equal in size and also an '08, I personally would choose it, but that not being the case, again "personally," I would choose the Kawi. But, don't let me influence you. Do just a little more research and make the decision your own. Whatever you choose, what great fun!!!
