| I have a 1987 1200 voyager and the carbs are leaking gas seems like the crossover tube I found two tubes from the crossover tubes going up to no where where do they go and the gas leak is on the left side carb one and two seem to leak but 3 + 4 are fine I bought the bike used with 22k on it last year and it ran fine but had a slight gas leak on the left side this year it is bad drips a lot any clues?

| I believe what you're describing are the vent tubes from the fuel bowls. If they are they are usually vented to clear hoses and attached up under the seat. Some mechanics remove the tubes and just leave the vents open so they don't get restricted.

| I forgot to say that if what I answered is correct and you have fuel leaking from these it probably means your fuel bowls are overflowing due to a needle sticking.

| their is a vent tube in between the two middle carbs.
their are fuel tubes in between the carbs also these tubes have O-rings on each end of the tubes. Before you take the float bowls off check these O-rings first. for about $2.00 you can fix this problem vs $50.00 for rebuild kits |
