| Same here - I only go about 100 miles before the light goes on, then when I refuel, it only takes about 3 or so gallons. I haven't dared try to find out how much further it will go before running dry. Does anyone else know?

| | I have the 2004 Nomad. The low fuel light normally comes on at around 140 to 160 mile on the full tank of fuel. I have rode up to 212 mile before refueling. I get 43 - 46 mpg depending on conditions and speed. The lowest mpg was 33. that was through north central and panhandle of Oklahoma with a 35 mph head wind. Without your FI Nomad gets really lousy mileage I wouldn't be afraid to ride at least 180 mile before refuleing... |
