I had an automatic before and I hated it. I know they have gotten better since then but, how do the AC 700's hold up water?

How long ago? What kind of automatic? The transmission on Arctic cat ATV's are CVT (Constantly Variable Transmission)which means you never feel the gears shift. They started putting this type of transmissions on cars. Both my machines are automatics and I have yet to encounter a situation where I wish I had a manual transmission due to lack of power.
Hope this helps.

They are fine in the water, but try no to go too much over the tires. I know, because I ride with alot of cats. THe only quad that can really go deep is the sportsman.
