I just purchased a 2007 Shadow Spirit VT750C2 and I am getting a terrible vibration through the foot pegs during acceleration and while cruising above 60mph. My feet go numb after about 20 miles of riding. I am also getting quite a bit of vibration through the handle bars which is having the same affect on my throttle hand. Does anyone have any suggestions.

short of asking the service department if this is normal or needs fixing if possible, I'd try putting on new bar grips with a thicker, gel type material, and new footpegs with a rubber surface on top, both to help absorb some vibration.

Thank you for the reply. I put a set of iso foot pegs on it and that took care of the problem. I am surprised that Honda puts the stock "Hollow" foot pegs on those bikes. With the engine and pegs mounted solid to the frame, the vibration is unbearable.

I really like the bike but If I was a first time "New" rider, I don't believe that I would buy another Honda.

glad you found the fix, now hopefully the rest of your time with that bike will be more typical Honda quality.
