| We are considering a purchase in the 400-450cc range for utility applications like hauling a lot of wood or rock in a trailer, up fairly steep hills. Plowing will also be an expected task (generally <10") . Not looking for speed, just durability and adequate power to do lots of work.
Do you recommend the Rancher, or should we look elsewhere? Not opposed to a used machine - suggested years to purchase, or models/years to avoid?
Suggestions and comments will be greatly appreciated!

| IF YOU ARE HAULING A LOT OF WOOD, ROCK AND ALSO ARE PLOWING BY A HONDA 450S FOREMAN. SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIND
AN 04. IF NOT A 500 FOREMAN WOULD DO FINE. RANCHER 420 MAY NOT BE ENOUGH. I HAVE AN 07' RANCHER 420FM. |
