My son recently purchased a 2005 Dyna,FXDLI. I can not believe how much the bike vibrates!!! The bike if left running on the kick stand will fall over. When riding the bike the vibration is there from idle to approx 2500 RPM in any gear range, seeing out the mirrors at low speeds is impossible. The bike had 284 miles when he bought it from the dealer. The dealer states the vibration is normal, is it? Dad

Hey Dad, does your son still have that bike? I just read your post. I have an 05 FXDLI that I bought new and it never vibrated anywhere close to what you described. I'd check the motor mounts and riser top and bottom. If he bought an extended warranty, have the dealer do it. Like to know what was found if anything.

I agree with TTK. I had a Dyna and have 2 friends who have them now. Do they vibrate? You betcha....they're Harleys. But, they should vibrate nowhere near what you have described. They should also idle while on the stand without it being even a hint of an issue, or a concern. It's very obvious that something isn't right. Time for a trip to the dealer...and, quickly.
