| Can the foot pegs and brake and shifting unit be moved up to where they are on the Bonnieville? I was also told you can put Bonniville handle bars on. Can any one let me know if this true. Thank you, Ron

| Yes, you can replace the handlebars with bonneville bars and the pegs and brake assembly can also be moved.... It makes for a more comfortable ride.. I attached pictures of the modification

| | Question: Moving the foot pegs, is that done without replacement? the handle bars can be lifted through Heli-Bars. |

| The foot pegs and shifting unit can definitley be changed, I had it done on my o4 Thruxton. The rear brake master cyclinder has to be relocated to the T100 position.{Check out a T100, you'll see what I mean}. You will also have to use some of the brake rigging from the T100 along with other parts. A good Triumph mechanic should be able to do this. With some modification I was able to use the Thruxton foot pegs, you don't have to buy/get the Bonnie foot pegs. Once you make the change to the Heli Bar Risers and relocate the foot pegs you'll wonder why Triumph doesn't offer it as an option package. Be prepared to ride a great sport touring machine!

| | The Thruxton clip-ons are 7/8" the Bonneville bars are 1". The aftermarket top yoke and handlebar kit available in 7/8" from newthruxton.com, bellacorse, and BritishCustoms.com. I think the Heli-bars are ugly. Another option drill stock top yoke, use fat bars, this do it yourself mod can be done for under $150. Last but not least, swap the clip-ons over the tree, that cost nothing but 20mins of your time. |

| NO, you can not replace with Bonneville handlebars. The controls fit 7/8" the Bonneville has 1" bars. What about that?
What is the problem with the clip-ons? Wrist pain?
My only problem with the Thruxton is the suspension. I have some shocks ordered. Whoopie! |
