| If you are only going to ride in town. You should get at least a 250 if plan on riding on any highway. The Honda Rebel or Suzuki GZ250 would be better, even for a brand new rider.

| | While the Eliminator 125 cannot be taken on the freeway, it can be taken ANYWHERE else. I bought an '06 in Oct. of '05 as a second bike, so I wouldn't have to ride my big Vulcan 1500 to work or on short trips. I found that I actually enjoy riding this little bike way more than I thought. I'm 6' 200 lbs., and have racked up over 17,000 miles on it since I bought it. It is by no means an in town only bike, I have crossed several state lines with it. Many people have crossed the country on 50cc mopeds and scooters, so doing so on the Eliminator 125 would be easy. BTW, after all those miles, it still runs like new. My local dealer doesn't have any more, I have them searching the country for a new '07, just to keep until this one wears out. Sadly, this bike is not available as an '08 model, and most of the '07s are gone. Kawasaki claims it was not a good seller. That's to bad. I would take one of these over a 125 scooter anyday, and those things are selling very well. A lot of people never knew what they were missing. The Rebel, GZ250, and Virago 250 are all good bikes, but none of them have the charm of this little 125. |
