| | How easy is to learn how to ride on the S50 in terms of balance, stability, and maneuverability as a starter bike? |

| probably doable - but not recommended. Make your mistakes on a more forgiving, lighter bike - you can pick up 20 year old Rebels for $1200-$1500 - ride them until your skills are improved enough to upgrade to a bigger bike.

| | I bought the s50 after 2 day course(on dirt bike 125cc)and with no past riding experience. in comparison with the honda shadow 650, suzuki is lighter by 100 Ibs. It is low and has a large wheel base that makes easy to ride and maneuverable |

| | I hadn't ridden any kind of motorcycle for 25 years - and none ever on a road. Bought S50 last year - put 1400 miles on it in 4 months - found it very easy to learn on....love the thing! |
