| i heard that the oil pumps suck in these things is that true??

| | no. They usually only go out when u let the oil level fall. Try to keep the tank full and you should b fine. If u modify the engine then u may want to convert it to premix. My blaster is an 01' and the oil pump still works really well. |

| | I heard the same thing but i asked my friend who races quads and he said they work fine because he asked a yamaha dealer and they said they only had one case of the motor buring up because it didnt get enough oil |

| if you ride in the cold, of put aftermarket parts on it i would block it off! ive seen about 4 of then fail an im only 16!

| | i would just block it off neway i had found out the hard way and i ended up blowing my motor up aso your best is to just block it off, the kit was only like 20-30$ on ebay it pays off in the end |
