| I'm looking at one of these for my next quad (I currently have a Yamaha Big Bear 400 4x4) Just wondering what the top speed is in high range and how the power compares to my 400. I got loads of torque but not much top end.

| My friend has a '04 big bear that doesn't compair to my Vinson. Like you said the Big Bear has torque but the vinson has low range for that. I would have the Vinson over the Big Bear anyday!

| | I just purchased a Vinson three weeks ago and I have had it up to 65 MPH in 5th gear. It still had a little more to go but I ran out of road. |

| | My 2007 Vinson will do a top speed of 47 mph or so. It does not have a higher gear ratio like some of the other utility bikes but in my opinion if you want speed then buy a racer! It seems to have plenty enough power for everyday riding and hunting etc. The worst drawback to the bike is the lack of a good locking front differential and the crap tires Suzuki puts on from the factory. |

| | I own both quads and must say the Vinson is a superior machine for power, and top speed (63mph). the big bear is dependable but slow. and no low gear on the big bear. |
