| Which aftermarket windshield works best on the VMAX? I don't want to ruin the looks of the bike, but would like some wind protection on long rides. I am 5'11.

| | Scott, I had and new 2004 V-Max. I got a windshield from National Cycle Company that worked pretty well. It was one of those that was wide at the bottom to protect your hands, also. By the way my 2004 V-Max had a bad wobble in the steering. Do you have that problem with yours? Thats the only thing that keeps me from buying another one. Other than that it was a great bike. The power is awesome. |

| | just got my new 2007 VMAX last week and put my first 13 miles on it today. thats all i had time for today but tomorrow suppose to be 63 degrees so will burn up some road....anyway, i am posting to say i bought a windshield off ebay and it works great. cost me $85 (shipping included). a no-name windshield that is not too small and not too big. the link is http://stores.ebay.com/jag-motorcycle for the seller. i love the MAX, having ridden cruisers for the most part since i started riding. I think its going to be the best decision i ever made...oh, by the way, cant find any info on the UFO Starfighter or Sportsmax seats. Anyone have any links to share? thanks and ride safe/easy. |
