I recently replaced my friction plates because of the clutch slipping. I went with Barnett friction plates and heavy duty springs. After I replaced it I thought there might be a little slippage still going on but wasn't sure. After riding for 150 miles or so I can now tell it is slipping. I didn't replace the steel plates because they looked fine. Does anyone know what else might cause the clutch to still slip? I plan on ordering steel plates and replacing them but didn't know if the hydraulics could cause the clutch to slip or not. I can take off fine, no slippage, but if I am cruisng at around 4000 to 5000 RPM and get on it hard, it slips.
Thanks for any help.
