gas runs straight out 1 of the drain tubes...even when the gas is "off" it still comes out. Has this happened to anyone else?

sounds like you may have trash in the carb. or either the float is sticking. Take the bowl off the bottom of the carb and check the float, it may be sticking in place and causing gas to flow through. At the same time you can unscrew the jet, which may have a dirt particle stuck in it. My sons bike has a screw in the side of the bowl and if it gets loose gas will flow like that too. Good Luck, hope you can find a fix.

sounds either like a stickey float or an improperly adjusted float
