| can this bike ride at 120km's easily or does it struggle. If so how fast can it go without vibrating you.The answer will most definately help in my decision to buy one. A 2005 model. thank you for your input" cheers"

| It will do it & without much buzzing but I'd probably go to a 16 tooth sprocket. The problem will be the deafening wind noise this bike makes at that speed.

| I have ridden at 120km per hour on long trips as a normal freeway speed or speed on good 2 lane roads (this is with full luggage and camping gear-see picture). This has been no problem for the bike and my after market windscreen means no buffetting at this speed. The other aspect of this is that I still have power to pass. My longest day of 850 miles was done with lots of hours at this speed on I-90 in Montana, Idaho, and Washington. The most confidence inspiring part of a trip was 50 miles on I-90 at 110km per hours in heavy rain....very heavy rain. I had to ride at this speed to keep from being passed by large trucks and drown in their spray.
I have Anakees and they were great. |
