| Just purchased an 05 Tuono here in New Zealand. It is stock standard but it is my understanding that there is much engine performance that can be released with relative ease. I have been informed that on earlier models it is simply a matter of deristricting the airbox, adding an aftermarket exhaust can, and snipping a specific wire on the ECU to install a "second map". Is this the way to go with the 05 model? Much thanks to anyone that has any information.

| I have the 05 Factory Tuono 1000R
I have the airbox mod, poser commander and Akropovics
It performs fantastic.
The power commander comes with software and a usb cable
so you can map just right.
