I've never owned a ATV and am seriously considering the Polaris Sportsman 450, Arctic Cat 400 Auto and the Yamaha Grizzly 400. Any advice for a novice to help me make the right decision? The problem is not noticeble until there is a great power demand such as going up hills. I have 4 ATVs and I noticed that the polaris 450 requires that I clean the filter much more often than any of the others. It is amazing what a difference it makes. So before you spend big bucks just clean the filter and it should resolve the problem.
