Hello All,

Got a Vulcan 900 Custom this weekend. Excellent bike!

I want to get a bigger passenger seat and a passenger backrest. Any suggestions? On the Kawasaki page there is no parts for seats or backrests. Does anyone know if seats/backrests from any of the other bikes will fit on the 900 custom (e.g. 900 classic, 900 LT)? I saw the Cobra standard backrest (part 02-5468) and this website seems to suggest that the Classic and Custom have the same fit, from the "not for LT" text. What do you think?

Thanks for everyone's help. Happy riding!

Here's one of the best seats available for the 900, but it's not cheap, by any means. Then, most of the accessory sites will show the Cobra sissy bars and pads, with the most comfy ones for your wife being the 17" or 14" bar. They make optional back pads, depending upon what she would prefer.

thanks Morg for the reply. I'm thinking about getting MC Enterprises backrest. The grab bars seem like a great idea, although I hope they don't interfere with me adding saddle bags in the future. Seats are great but pricey, ouch. Thanks again!
