What is the top speed the speedometer says?

XT 225 sold in Hawaii shows top of mark of speedometer to be 85mph.

this model has a digital speedometer.

I'm pretty sure the speedo goes to 85mph. The bike can easily do 75mph, and cruising at 65mph is not a problem.

my speedo over here in Australia says 180 kph, wouldnt hit that much though aha.

I agree that the speedo definitely reads to 85mph. And, its speedo redline at 55mph has nothing to do with its top speed, which is obviously higher. How much higher depends upon whether your bike has its standard 15 tooth front gear, or if it was changed to a 16, which some riders have done.
