GUESS WHAT BOY'S & GAL'S I PUT 7,600 MILES ON MY '03 BONNIE IN UNDER 10 MONTHS (SHORT WEEKEND RIDES ONLY). NOW I NEED NEW TIRES, REAR BRAKE PADS, 8,000 MILE SERVICING WHICH IS NOT CHEAP AND FINALLY YOU GUESSED IT THE DARN THING IS LEAKING OIL FROM THE ENGINE. THANK GOD IT'S UNDER WARANTEE. WHILE FUN TO RIDE, IF YOU ARE NOT A DO-IT YOURSELF KIND OF PERSON EXPECT TO PAY THROUGH THE NOSE FOR THE NOSTALGIA. I AM VERY CONCERN ABOUT THE OIL LEAKS, SINCE I THOUGHT TRIUMP LEARNED THIER LESSION THE FIRST TIME AROUND. THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A BETTER PRODUCT. THE T100 DOES NOT SEEM TO LIKE LONG EXTENDED RIDES AT 80 MILES PER HOUR. ANYONE ELSE HAVING PROBLEMS? OH BY THE WAY HAVE YOU TRIED GETTING TIRES?

You got a lemon pal. I've got an '01 and have put 34,000+ miles on it. I did a 6000 mile trip in three weeks and the only thing I had to do is tighten the seat bolts. I use Michelin Macadam tires for extended wear and good overall performance. I find this bike to be wonderful on long rides and it is very happy going 80 all day long. Oh yes - to this day, it has not leaked a drop of oil.

I had a leak from my cylinder head gasket, which only appeared at high speed. I had it reaired under waranty and it has not returned. I drive long distances sometimes at high speed for extended durations without any problems........... mileage now 17000....
