I have heard that these bikes have a hot starting problem, what do you do to fix that?

Sell it - - I had the same problem - - they never fixed it - - every time I drove it, I could never turn it off, as I was afraid it would not start and I would be stranded. It actually happened a few times.

Replace the battery with a maintenance free one. I know it sound strange, but it works. Have not had a problem since I replaced mine.

My dealer said mine was from bad gas "I" put in it but it had the problem the day I brought it home with the free tank of gas the dealer provided. I changed the battery and no change. the warranty won't cover the cost of fixing it unless the dealer claims it a warranty issue and they want $389. to clean the carbs that i had cleaned a month after I got the bike. I'll NEVER buy another Kawasaki !!!!!! What a cheap piece of **** ! I'm trading it next year on a Harley which I'm told covers everything.

Be sure the dealer understands that he has the bad gas. Some is from his mouth, most is out of his a**! Their job is to make a sale and make it stick.
