Having problems understanding what i have to do with the throttle-side install. have the rubber off, end cap off. Am i really to take off the Throttle Sleave? If i don't, then i'll have the old Plastic/Chrome thing from the old grip in between the new grip and the swith housing.

Doesn't seem to be anything different with the throttle side vs clutch side other than diameter?

Ideas?

i figured it out. turns out the grips slide over the sleve. i had to modify (grind down) some of the relief on the sleve.

strange, on my 1600 the whole grip gets replaced on BOTH sides. not just the sleeve.
