I'm looking to buy a single? cylinder do everything bike with SOME respectable power THAT IS quick & agile. I'm considering getting a big motocrosser like the KX500 or the hottest 4stroke single I can get & then making it street legal. I have a Honda XR650L that I could modify???maybe to get it to howl a bit & then get a nice cruiser for longer runs-what do you reccommend I do.
I want a stone reliable Bike that has good performance & doesn't weigh so much that if it falls over I don't have to find help. I thought about the CBR11100XX with a taller shield & handlebar risers to get a more upright rider's position more comfort is important to me-I'm getting grey hairs now...

Do your self a favour in my humble opion and get a kx 500, i own one ,1 reliable powerful bike that only weighs 99kgs.Big four strokes almost half again with less power. Good luck you will pull wheel stands easy on the red honda hunter. Regards Mal

A cr would be a better choice for a younger guy and even then its a handful so with you get older a KX would be better but that XR650 has better range and doesent require extensive mods to make street legal and it would be less zippy or pipey like a 250 2-stroke MXer.
