only been riding for a few months, and i'm looking at a sportster as my next ride,,i'm looking at the 1200's, heres the silly part i'm 6'2" and 300lbs everyone say's i need a bigger bike but bigger ain't in the budget,,,will the 1200 have enough power,,,i know room wise it might be a little tight but i don't consider that a problem atm,,
or,,,, would an 883 do me just as well,,,it'll be used mostly for back and forth to work,,,

Thanks for your time all.

I think it should. I weight 220lbs and have gone 2 up with an 180lbs. passenger and it will still haul *** up to 90 mph ( Top speed I got to until passenger started freaking out lol ) That's 400 lbs. and bike still rode lovely.

By the way, you might be a bit hefty for a 883. If it's within your budget, go for a Dyna Super Glide instead. It is the least expensive of the big twins and would handle your frame better.
