My boyfriend just paid $3,200 for a 1999 Honda CBR900RR with a salvaged title. I think he got ripped off, but I'm hoping that I'm wrong. Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks

Salvage Titles acan be a scary thing. Theres a huge negative canotation. There are positive sides to a Salvage title.
Salvate titles can also mean the bike took damage and the cost of repaif was higher than the bikes worth (damage exceeded 75% of value. If your a informed cycleist you know that to look for.
Main thing:
Accident: Was the frame damaged.
Failings( cool plastic designs): EXPENSIVE to fix/paint, everyone falls and damaged them eventually.
- Positive: If you have to repair them you get the opportunity to custom design them. Who wants to repaint a bike that as good paint already.

I have a 1999 CBR900RR at an auction. Yes it got dumped during a police chast. Frame appered not damaged, 1/2 front fairing damaged (ebay used to buy used ones $200),

** ENGINE: if the oil were to ever run out the bike it will immediaty shut off the engine. This protects the engin from damage.

What else do you have?
