| I am about to get a 2006 bayou 250 atv I was wondering if i should get a ozark,bruin or recon.which is better

| | Kawasaki bayou 250 because when it break in it will go like hell. it is faster then the ozark, recon, bruin. I've raced all three and i beat them. the close one was the ozark, then recon, then bruin. so once again the kawasaki bayou is much better of the three. |

| I have a 05 Bayou and my wife has a 05 Recon. In a straight drag race, once I get into 3rd gear, my bayou will run away from her recon. Now her recon rides better and will handle trails at higher speeds easier, but my bayou will fire right up when cold, and her recon is very cold natured. For about $600. less, I think that the bayou is the way to go.

| i have the recon,bayou and the ozark and i wont even ride the bayou or the recon because the ozark is so much faster but i will say the worst 4-wheeler is honda i am now looking into yamaha

| I own both the Ozark 250 (2007) and a Bayou 250 (2006). To me either is good and both have their faults. The Ozark has no gas gauge on the tank or on the handle bar information center. The Bayou has a gas gauge. The Ozark has disc brakes and they are hydrolic, the Bayou had drum cable brakes. I like the rear suspension on the Bayou better than the Ozark, but I like the front suspension on the Ozark better than the Bayou.
I bought the Ozark for my son and the Bayou for me. If I had to do it all over again and I was just buying for me I would have a hard choice to make.
