I have an S50 and still is in the break-in period. Has anyone that rides an S50 noticed the bike bucking as soon as your speed drops(5-10mph) with no downshifing? I know that any bike or car will do that but it seems as if this bike is geared to operate at higher RPM's ?? any comments?

I also found I had to keep the revs higher than the owners manual suggested or it would lug and and rattle. I moved up to a higher octane fuel, and took it for a long 5 hour run ( at varying speeds for break in ), and it is running very smooth now.

I put a higher grade of gas in, and it seems to be smother. I also am in the break-in period. About 400 mile so far.

Things should improve after the breakin period, but the bike is not a crawler like some harleys. My S50 isn't happy unless I'm doing at least 10 mph. Below that I usually have to slip the clutch in and out.
