| Is 805 cc too much power for a first bike for someone whose only experience is the MSF course. I am 5'7, 150 lbs and 63 years old.

| how did you do in the course? Were you a confident rider or a nervous one? Weight of the bike is probably a bigger factor - it's real easy to just not hammer the throttle back - steering dynamics and weight are more important. The s50 at 443 lbs is a big jump from the sub 300lb MSF bikes but still manageable. I rode a 390lb Rebel 450 after my MSF and within 100 miles was very comfortable on it.

| | The bike weight is the main factor that makes the difference. The power is to be harnessed by throtle. This bike is the lightest in its catagory as far as I have seen. You will need the extra steam on the Freeway |
