| I've owned a 660 Rhino for about a year now and for the most part I like it pretty good. There is however a vibration at apx. 2800-3000 Rpm that is very annoying. It is coming from the engine or tranny and radiating out through the drive shafts. I drove another Rhino and it seems to have the same problem. The dealer says there is nothing to be done about it. I've had it in a couple of times. I don't hear too many others complaining about this problem, but its hard to believe I've driven the only two with vibration. Maybe others are just overlooking or living with the problem. My dealer seems to think I should learn to live with it.
Any thoughts?

| Same here with my 2007 660. The front driveshaft is most likely the issue, as the coupling on mine seems to have already worn out after 3 tanks of gas. Grab the shaft from the drivers side and push/pull. You will probably feel the clunk. Will get much more noisy in 4wd, almost like running over rumble strips. The front diff is probably suspect also, as mine is acting like the gears do not have any clearance. Put it on a jack and rotate the Drivers side wheel and you will feel it.

| I have the same vibrating problem with my Rino. It starts vibrating at about 7 miles an hour. The Dealer also told me that it was normal. It seems to me that it will case other problems with that sever vibrating.
I also have a problem with the brakes squeaking loudly. Yamaha said they would fix the brake problem but they never have. |
