| KLR 650,'06,'shut off' while ridding this summer on a 100+ ride,after 20 min.it would run again,the dealer coulden't get it to do it when i brought it to them? anyone know what happen? thanks

| | could be water in the gas or possibly an idle adjustment is needed (just turn a screw on the carb) |

| i can guarantee you will never have that problem again. you probably went past the rpm limit before initial break in.or either some customer who test drove the bike before you bought it horse-ed the engine past the limit trying to see top speed .next time you buy a brand new bike pick it from the showroom floor and asked them to order you one with out a single mile on it.BRAND NEW MEANS NEVER RIDDEN!!!!!

| | quite possible that the vacuum line to the petcock is getting weak, it collapses and shuts the fuel off, you stop, wait a bit and it regains its shape and it runs again. come on by klrworld.com for lots of answers |
