| | I have heard that some of the 2005 GSXR-1000's have a bad vibration in the engine at higher RPM's that supposedly means that the engine is bad. Have you heard anything like this? I have had two GSXR-1000's to date that I have really enjoyed and I want the 2006 but not if it may have a problem. |

| Having owned 3GSXR-1000's (2002-2003-2005,I can attest to the over-engineering and strength of this motor.Break your bike in properly and change the oil regularily.Appreciate the balance-fine handling-and power this wonderful motorcyle has. These 1000's are the best of the 34 motorcycles I have owned.Do'nt believe old wives tales.

| i bought a 2006 gsx-r1000 and there is more vibrations at higher rpms. All bikes vibrate more the higher the rpm is. Bikes not broken in properly may vibrate more that others, who knows.

| The 05 GSXR - 1000's had some nose in the engine. Which I think is due to the 05 engines did not have the combustion chamber's shaved enough so it left unburned fuel sitting in the chambers. This would leave it to make more engine vibration. I have had an 05 GSXR 1000 and now I own the 06 GSXR 1000. The engines in the 06's seem to be more redefined in combustion chambers I have less vibration in the engine.
