| if you want a low bike, get a cruiser. sport bikes are made to turn, hence they have higher ground clearence. lowering a sports bike is like buying a ferrari to go off roading with.

| There are kits on the market (muzzy), that replace your lowering links (refered to as dog bones). Had the deal do my muzzy kit when I bought it. Kit was $50, lowering it was 1.5 hrs labor. Muzzy's kit can lower it 1.25 inches, or 2.5 inches. I went with 1.25... the 2.5 didn't allow the kickstand to come down properly. Loweing will change the hanling characteristcs of the bike, but unless you really ride agressively, you'll pry never notice.

| Let some air out of the tires. Actually, on a sportbike it's not worth it. You may be able to shave some foam out of the seat to give you a better reach to ground if that's your issue.
