| I see that Kawasaki is releasing early photos and specs of the 2008 replacement for the KLR 650. Strange thing to do. Who wants to buy a bike with a 20 year old design when they announce the updates two model years down the road. I hope this means that the 2008 KLR 650 is released in early 2007.

| | You are right. I am in the market to buy a KLR 650 and noticed the same thing. I think the deal is kawasaki is so confident about their old klr 650 legend, they don't even need to hide that a new bike is coming. Moreover old design is tested for 30 years. there is a huge aftermarket and a support system in the old KLR 650 community however nobody knows that much about the new design. I'll still go ahead and purchase the old klr 650 because of these reasons. Moreover the new design is a little bit wimpy-girlie. |
