| I've heard that some people have mounted 170/60 tires on the rear, is this possible 'cause it would help keep the bike more stable in those long sweepers and at higher speeds, if anybody's tried this or knows, please answer...

| Keep the stock size for stability. Most people increasing the tire size regret the sacrifice of flickability for no stability gain.
If you feel that the bike is less than stable, you might want to consider some suspension mods, like a Penske or Fox rear shock, and progressive springs and heavier oil in the forks.
