| After riding, the fuel tank vents. Making that hissing sound. Even when I open the cover to allow air in, it will continue until the engine has cooled. Why is that and how can I correct it?

| This is common and not a problem. The tank is in fact venting through the cap and on certain ocassions even though the cap has been opened, the fuel has warmed to the point that venting will contine until cooling has taking place. Nothing to correct here.

| you can not fix this. the hissing sound that you are hearing is from the vent on the gas tank, and will not stop even when you open the gas cap. it is nothing to worry about.
