| I hear people calling this a 50's v-Twin unreliable sportster version of a dual sport. I think this may be like saying that a BMW opposed twin is the same old stogy engine that was being made in the 50's. Does anybody have any first hand info as to reliability and longevity of the Ulysses in the long haul first hand. In the high mileage category, any experiences out there based on actual miles of riding experience?

| The BMW analogy is a good one. These motors share nothing with 50's Harley's except for being air-cooled and having two cylinders. The engines were redesigned for '03 and recieved all new transmissions for '06. There is a stigma attatched to anything Harley related and it's been a long time since that had any substance.
Anyone who's rode one will tell you that it is a far cry from a Sportster or even any other Buell. It's considered the best rounded adventure tourer for a reason.
Reliability is comparable to any '03 up model Buell twin.
