| Can this bike handle a passenger on a highway trip?

| Yes, I had a passenger riding through the Black Hills. 28lb. air in rear tire.

| My wife and I (320lbs combined) have no troubles. Just remember to adjust the rear spring for the weight increase.

| | Probably not, the frame and suspension are somewhat light duty for that. |

| No.
I put my 120lb daughter on rear and could not believe how bad the handling was. I did not go over 30 mph for fear of crashing. No good! I had 30 lbs in rear tire and stiffened the rear spring a moderate amount. I am a big guy 220 lbs, but as you can see one of the reviews said he did fine with only 20 lbs less. I don't get it... all I know was I definitely felt loss of control.

| My wife and I have a combined wait of 280 lbs. I go all over including off road and have never had any problems.

| I'm 285lbs so I probably outweigh many riders and their favourite passangers combined. I have a short highway commute each day and its fine.

| Sure it can. If your skinny and the passenger is skinny. Lets look at it like this. If your 200+ pounds you better be having a 100 pound female on the back. If your fat and your passenger is fat you will not be comfortable. I would consider this a 2 person bike for people that are about 160 pounds a pop.
